Upon isolation and confirmation of Helicobacter pylori from gastric tissue biopsies, antimicrobial susceptibility testing of the organism will include: amoxicillin, clarithromycin, levofloxacin, metronidazole, and tetracycline.

Culture turn-around time 3-14 days. Susceptibility turn-around time 3-7 days.
